All printed matter was designed by Benjamin Critton Art Department (BC AD) between 2011 and 2014, with the exception of one item designed by Benjamin Critton and Studio Lin, one item designed by Benjamin Critton and Mylinh Trieu Nguyen, and several items designed by Benjamin Critton and Colophon Foundry.
Work was either self-commissioned or commissioned by one of the following entities: Erik Benjamins, Candide: Journal for Architectural Knowledge, Dead Painters, Printed Matter Inc., Sight Unseen, The Storefront for Art and Architecture, The Yale AIDS Memorial Project.
All items are first editions, with the exception of Evil People in Modernist Homes in Popular Films, which was reprinted in 2013 with the help of Draw Down books.
All the things that look like they are supposed to work do, in fact, work. The only exceptions to this rule are the EXIT signs, Object Nos. 021 & 072.
All items of clothing are vintage and in either perfect or near-perfect condition. Wearables are professionally dry-cleaned prior to shipment. For people who are particular about their shoes: the ones here are Nike Bruin Suede SC trainers in Royal/White; they date to 1991 or 1992.
All books are vintage and in either perfect or near-perfect condition. They are rendered in English unless otherwise noted. Some are ex-Library, some are ex-Other Things.
